BaliHow.com – The implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) throughout Indonesia has been extended for 14 days, starting from January 4 to January 17, 2022.
Following this policy, the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Numbers 01 and 02 of 2022 was issued.
The regulation was signed by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian on January 3, 2022.
Indonesia Expanded International Flight Entrance during COVID Pandemic
Inmendagri Number 01 of 2022 concerning PPKM Java-Bali, one of which contains restrictions on the entry of international flight passengers on air, sea and land routes.
It was stated that the entrance by air is now open at 6 airports spread over a number of points.
Previously, the entrance by air was only available at 3 points.
The six points are:
- Soekarno Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten Province;
- Juanda Airport in Sidoarjo, East Java Province;
- Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar, Bali Province;
- Hang Nadim Airport in Batam, Riau Islands Province;
- Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands Province;
- Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado, North Sulawesi Province.
Then, in the same rule it is stated, the entrance to the sea route in Bali and the Riau Islands can use cruise ships and yachts.
“Technical arrangements related to the implementation of the provisions as referred to in letters a) to b) and during the transition period will be further regulated by the Ministry of Transportation/Covid-19 Handling Task Force/relevant ministries/institutions,” the Ministry of Home Affairs said.
The Minister of Home Affairs Number 02 of 2022 concerning PPKM outside Java-Bali also regulates the same thing.
The regulation contains provisions regarding the entrance of Indonesian citizens who are international travelers by air which are spread at 6 airport points.
It is also stated in the Ministry of Home Affairs that the sea route for Indonesian citizens from abroad is through the ports of Batam and Tanjung Pinang in the Riau Islands Province, as well as Nunukan in North Kalimantan Province.
Then, for land entrances only through the State Border Post (PLBN) Aruk and Entikong in West Kalimantan Province and Motaain in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
Especially for foreigners who enter Indonesia, the entrance to the air route is only through Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Banten Province, Juanda Airport in East Java Province, and Sam Ratulangi Airport in North Sulawesi Province.
Then, the sea entrances in the Province of Bali and the Province of the Riau Islands can use a cruise ship or sailing ship.
